Doctor Louis Creed moves his family to Maine, where he meets a friendly local named Jud Crandall. After the Creeds’ cat is accidentally killed, Crandall advises Louis to bury it in the ground near the old pet cemetery. The cat returns to life, its personality changed for the worse. When Louis’ son, Gage dies tragically, Louis decides to bury the boy’s body in the same ground despite the warnings of Crandall and Louis’ visions of a deceased patient.

Frankenstein (1931)
This iconic horror film follows the obsessed scientist Dr. Henry Frankenstein as he attempts to create life by assembling a creature from body parts of the deceased. Aided by his loyal misshapen assistant, Fritz, Frankenstein succeeds in animating his monster, but it escapes into the countryside and begins to wreak havoc. Frankenstein searches for the elusive being and eventually must confront his tormented creation.
The Mummy (1932)
A team of British archaeologists led by Sir Joseph Whemple discover the mummified remains of the ancient Egyptian prince Imhotep, along with the legendary scroll of Thoth. When one of the archaeologists recites the scroll aloud, Imhotep returns to life, but escapes. Several years later, Imhotep has taken on the guise of a wealthy man, as he searches Egypt for his lost love, who he believes has been reincarnated as the lovely Helen Grosvenor.

Founded in October of 2014, Steve Rudolph (pianist/composer and founder of the Central PA Friends of Jazz) & Bill Perbetsky (trumpeter and former band director at Susquehanna H.S.) co-lead the 16-piece ensemble. The players include the finest musicians from our area and beyond performing music from the historic big bands (Ellington/Basie/ Dorsey) to more modern bands (Buddy Rich, Thad Jones, Rob McConnell.
