The Gents quickly began to churn out material that would stump any self-respecting genre- classifying search engine algorithm. While the standard jazz/funk moniker certainly applies, a quick listen to any of the group’s original selections quickly reveals intricate horn arrangements and lush keyboards that cross into any number of sub-genres.
