Rental Policies

The West Shore Theatre, owned and operated by Friends of the West Shore Theatre, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, as part of its mission to serve the New Cumberland community and surrounding areas, offers its facilities for use by responsible individuals and organizations. The Friends of the West Shore Theatre, Inc. reserves the right to deny or cancel any rental agreement with any individual or group that intends to use theatre facilities to promote or support any activity that contradicts guidelines set forth in the mission and vision statements of the West Shore Theatre.

Political Rental Policy

As an organization that is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the Code), Friends of the West Shore Theatre, Inc. is prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office. In accordance, the West Shore Theatre rental policy prohibits the use of facilities for partisan political events or campaign activities. Please note, West Shore Theatre Management reserves the right to accept or decline inquiries for rental events at its sole discretion.

Faith-Friendly Film Screening Rental Policy

The West Shore Theatre is available for rental for private, faith-friendly film screenings. A private screening includes a full facility rental fee and movie licensing fee. Please note, West Shore Theatre Management reserves the right to accept or decline inquiries for rental events at its sole discretion.
