Thanks to a generous grant from the Bob Craig Youth Foundation, we are excited to offer a Summer Youth Musical Theatre Workshop at the West Shore Theatre!

Raise Your Voice is a brand-new revue featuring songs from across Music Theatre International’s Broadway Junior® collection. From Broadway Junior musicals based on classic titles like Guys and Dolls and Oliver! to beloved Disney shows like The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins, Raise Your Voice offers a fun introduction to musical revues for young performers. This workshop will build upon theatrical experiences through daily workshops about the songs, shows, and composers featured in the revue as well as acting through song, character work, theatre etiquette, and theatrical conventions. With our max of 16 participants, this the perfect opportunity for young artists looking to build upon their strengths and knowledge of theatre while challenging them as they work together to put on this fun and fast-paced musical revue in a little over a week!

Scholarships

In an effort to give these theatre experiences to the most enthusiastic and interested children, we offer needs-based scholarships to at least two deserving applicants per workshop. Scholarships can be awarded for partial or full tuition. If you are interested and in need, please view the submission form here.

Application forms must be completed in full and received by the due date.
